Part-time Reforestation Subject Matter Expert to design and oversee post-wildfire reforestation projects in Rocky Mountain ecosystems. Conduct site assessments, develop technical reports and valuation summaries, advise on seed collection and planting, monitor outcomes, and deliver training. Collaborate with land managers, agencies, and communities; use GIS and remote sensing for ecological monitoring; travel to field sites as needed.

Review program documentation for accuracy and compliance with federal/state regulations; conduct desk reviews; identify irregularities, conflicts of interest, and potential fraud; maintain audit-ready records; prepare findings and corrective action reports; use Excel, Smartsheet, Word, SharePoint and case management systems; support grant compliance project management activities.

Lead development and updates of local, state, and tribal hazard mitigation, resilience, and climate adaptation plans. Manage interdisciplinary teams, perform data collection/analysis, QA/QC for FEMA approvals, stakeholder engagement, risk assessments, identify mitigation actions, and support proposal development and technical writing.
