Responsibilities include customer research, unit economics, partner research, legal and compliance collaboration, product development, integrations, experimentation, and ownership of conversion, losses, payback, retention, and cross-sell metrics. The role requires hands-on coding, business-line ownership, and deep consumer finance experience.

Own the growth of Kovo’s core credit-building product across onboarding, conversion, retention, payment, and lifecycle workflows. Set the roadmap, identify opportunities through data and customer research, prototype and ship production code, instrument events, and run experiments end to end. Build automated, agentic experimentation workflows and lifecycle systems while measuring impact on activation, retention, conversion, and lifetime value.

Own the growth of Kovo’s core credit-building product, including onboarding, lifecycle, conversion, retention, experimentation, analytics, and roadmap direction. The role combines product management with hands-on engineering: prototyping, shipping production code, instrumenting events, analyzing data, and building automated experiment workflows. Candidates should have recent TypeScript, React, or similar production experience, strong SQL and experimentation skills, and a track record of measurable consumer product growth.

Own the zero-to-one development of a new consumer fintech vertical, from evaluating opportunities and modeling unit economics through prototyping, compliance design, launch, and growth. The role requires building initial product versions, managing integrations, partnering with engineering and legal, and owning conversion, losses, payback, retention, and cross-sell metrics. This is a high-ownership, fully remote role reporting to a founder.

Lead regulatory and product work for new consumer financial products, including licensing, bank partnerships, policies, disclosures, marketing review, privacy, BSA/AML/KYC, fraud, litigation, audits, and regulator relationships. Build scalable, AI-enabled workflows that automate recurring legal operations while maintaining rigorous quality. Partner closely with founders, product, engineering, marketing, banks, and regulators in a fully remote, high-intensity fintech environment.

Provide hands-on support for complex and regulated customer issues while improving AI-powered support systems, workflows, automation, and self-service experiences. Review AI agent performance, identify conversation patterns, develop support logic, manage escalations, and create policies and playbooks. The role requires strong ownership, quantitative thinking, and collaboration across product, engineering, and operations in an early-stage fintech startup.

Own backend systems and infrastructure end-to-end, designing, deploying, and scaling performant APIs and services on AWS using Node.js and TypeScript. Deliver reliable production code quickly, establish engineering best practices, make architectural tradeoffs, and collaborate with product engineers and stakeholders. The role emphasizes system ownership, scalability, performance, reliability, and effective use of AI-assisted development tools.
