The Senior Project Accountant manages capital project accounting, month-end close, cash forecasting, budget and variance analysis, financial reporting, fixed asset transfers, and regulatory filings. The role coordinates with project managers, procurement, AP, fixed asset accounting, tax teams, auditors, and leadership to ensure accurate project cost tracking, compliance, and financial visibility across regulated entities.

Manage IT and OT projects across infrastructure, EMS, software, storage, networking, and IAM/PAM initiatives. Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, risk plans, reports, and statements of work. Coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders, resources, vendors, milestones, and deliverables across a project portfolio. Monitor costs, project health, scope, and dependencies while providing hands-on oversight during equipment installation and configuration. Travel to remote sites as needed in a regulated utility environment.

Leads OT security compliance engineering and GRC teams supporting critical infrastructure. Oversees Splunk, Tenable or Nessus, and Tripwire operations; NERC CIP compliance; audits; regulatory engagement; violation management; risk registers; policies; controls; evidence; and executive reporting. Manages technical and analyst teams, translates technical findings into business risks, supports facility onboarding and certifications, and maintains continuous audit readiness across multiple entities.

Administer and secure Windows and Linux systems, VMware platforms, NetApp storage, authentication, backups, databases, endpoints, and field devices supporting critical OT and transmission-grid operations. Responsibilities include system builds, patching, hardening, monitoring, incident response, access management, recovery testing, documentation, and NERC CIP compliance. The role participates in 24/7 on-call support, audits, change management, vulnerability remediation, and coordination with OT Security, Network Operations, and Compliance teams.

Monitor and participate in wholesale electricity market proceedings across North American RTOs and ISOs. Analyze regulatory proposals and translate policy changes into commercial, investment, and asset-strategy insights. Advise development, asset management, and trading teams; prepare leadership briefings; develop company positions; engage regulators, market operators, IPPs, consultants, and industry groups; and assess impacts of market-rule changes on asset economics and competitive positioning.

Monitor and influence wholesale electricity market policy across North American RTOs and ISOs. Analyze regulatory proposals, FERC proceedings, and market-rule changes; translate their commercial and investment implications; advise development, asset management, and trading teams; prepare leadership briefings; build relationships with regulators, market operators, and industry participants; and support stakeholder strategies and company positions.
