Design, develop, and verify FPGA logic for Microchip PolarFire SoCs using VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog. Create optimized IP cores, DSP blocks, custom peripherals, and high-speed interfaces. Integrate FPGA firmware with RISC-V processors, Linux, and RTOS environments, while collaborating on BSPs and kernel drivers. Build UVM-based RTL verification environments, testbenches, and constrained-random testing workflows to ensure design correctness and coverage.

Develop and verify embedded firmware and FPGA designs using VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog. Build RTL testbenches and UVM-based verification environments, perform simulation and synthesis using ModelSim and Libero SoC, and apply digital design principles including clock-domain management, pipelining, and AXI/Avalon protocols. Integrate FPGA systems with Linux or RTOS platforms and support real-time embedded applications.

Perform application-security engineering: run SAST/DAST scans, triage and remediate vulnerabilities, integrate Fortify/JFrog Xray/OWASP ZAP into CI/CD, support software-supply-chain/SCA efforts, and collaborate with developers to document and resolve security findings.

Perform power-system studies and grid interconnection modeling using PSS/E and PSCAD, develop and validate models, and support end-to-end ISO/RTO interconnection processes. Ensure compliance with NERC MOD/FAC/PRC standards and prepare required model submittals; collaborate with utilities and stakeholders on interconnection evaluations.
