The IT Epic Pharmacy Analyst III plans, designs, develops, implements, trains users on, supports, and evaluates Epic pharmacy application functionality. Responsibilities include mentoring IT staff, reviewing their work, supporting system optimization, and potentially leading implementations. The position is remote and per diem, with employment limited to residents of eligible U.S. states.

Designs, implements, maintains, and supports assigned Epic applications. Plans clinical system implementations and upgrades, coordinates testing and quality assurance, documents changes, mentors IT EMR staff, trains employees, and advises end users. Requires Epic certification in the primary application within 90 days of completing the first Epic class.

Supervises daily hospital inpatient or outpatient coding operations, manages team performance, promotes accurate and compliant coding, develops staff and team goals, and identifies process improvements. The role monitors reporting, analyzes trends, supports action plans, and ensures coding practices align with organizational objectives and reimbursement methodologies.
