Designs, deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots resilient infrastructure supporting Oracle Utilities software for clients. Responsibilities include Linux server configuration, networking, firewalls, VPNs, hardware and software tuning, connectivity troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, process improvement, metrics, client communication, technical support, and on-call incident response. Preferred work includes WebLogic administration, virtualization, backup systems, Oracle Database administration, Active Directory, DNS, and Microsoft Office support. The role is remote within the United States with occasional travel for go-lives, incidents, and data center work.

Owns the architecture, delivery, and support of Oracle Utilities integration and enterprise reporting solutions. Leads designs across MDM, CC&B, ODM, and OUA; governs Oracle Data Integrator standards; and implements reporting with Oracle analytics tools. Translates requirements into solution architectures, resolves complex synchronization issues, guides technical teams, mentors developers, and ensures performance and quality. Serves as the senior technical authority for clients while aligning solutions with Oracle’s future-state Utilities roadmap. The remote role requires up to 80% travel.

Designs end-to-end technical and functional architectures for Oracle Utilities implementations, including MDM, billing, customer engagement, integrations, data flows, governance, and reporting. Translates client requirements into scalable solutions, identifies cross-system risks, collaborates with consultants and stakeholders, and provides architectural oversight through build, testing, and deployment. The role also contributes to standards, reusable designs, and proposal or solution-shaping activities.

The Test Lead oversees manual and automated testing of enterprise applications, managing testing activities, developing test plans, and maintaining quality metrics, with significant client interaction and travel involved.
