Assists with food preparation, cooking, beverage and meal service for residents. Sets up and delivers trays, stocks snack carts, buses tables, cleans kitchen and dining areas, washes dishes, and follows food safety, handwashing, universal precaution, and state and federal regulations.

Provide direct resident care under charge nurse direction: assist with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, dressing), measure and record vital signs, document care in electronic medical records, observe and report condition changes, assist with mobility and transfers, and perform supportive hospitality duties during an introductory period prior to CNA training.

Provides compassionate, non-clinical and personal care support to skilled nursing residents under nursing supervision. Duties include assisting with bathing, feeding, dressing, transfers, mobility, vital signs, documentation in electronic medical records, call lights, comfort, safety, and reporting condition changes. The role begins with a two-week hospitality aide period and includes paid on-the-job training toward Certified Nurse Aide eligibility.

Provides clinical risk oversight across skilled nursing communities by assessing clinical and quality risks, analyzing trends, investigating adverse events, supporting root cause analyses and corrective actions, advising QAPI committees, and educating facility teams. Partners with clinical, operational, quality, legal, and regional leaders to strengthen regulatory compliance, reduce preventable harm, improve resident outcomes, and promote a proactive culture of safety. Requires extensive travel throughout assigned Texas communities.

Work under charge nurses to assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding), take vitals, document care in EMR, observe/report condition changes, assist with mobility and safe lifting, provide compassionate customer service. Begin with a minimum two-week Hospitality Aide period before entering Nurse Aide training and potential CNA certification assistance.

Assist the Dietary Manager with daily dietary operations, staff training, food preparation per menus/recipes, meal inspection, and enforcing food safety and HACCP guidelines. Ensure sanitation, proper receiving/storage/service, work rotating shifts, and perform duties as assigned.

Provide direct resident care and clinical leadership in a skilled nursing facility: assess and document conditions, administer medications, conduct physician rounds, oversee aides, complete incident reports and narcotic reconciliation, discharge residents, and communicate changes to physicians and family members.

Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, directing, and evaluating nursing department operations to ensure quality resident care, staffing, compliance, quality assurance, record review, and coordination with physicians and families.
