Leads building automation projects, guiding engineering teams and supporting customers. Designs instrumentation, electrical schematics, control panels, and system configurations; selects hardware; configures PLC, DDC, DCS, and HMI systems; performs testing, startup, calibration, troubleshooting, commissioning, documentation, and customer training. Supports proposals, hardware procurement, panel fabrication, acceptance testing, and onsite system modifications.

Manages MEP and building automation projects from initiation through completion, overseeing schedules, resources, finances, invoicing, procurement, change orders, quality, risk mitigation, and customer relationships. Leads engineering teams, coordinates with contractors and clients, negotiates terms, provides technical guidance, and ensures compliance with engineering standards and quality systems. The role may also support commissioning, HVAC controls, subcontractor management, and project management tool development.

Oversee field operations for building automation construction projects, serving as the technical contact for contractors, trades, and customers. Coordinate installation tasks, commissioning activities, quality control, equipment handoffs, schedules, and site reporting. Support instrumentation and electrical design, inspect installations, identify discrepancies, and assist with estimating and systems engineering between deployments.

Lead onsite delivery of building automation projects, guide teams of 2–5 engineers, conduct system startups, install and configure software, perform loop checks, calibration, functional testing, troubleshooting, and field programming. Lead customer meetings, maintain customer relationships, train representatives, and support HVAC controls testing. The role requires 100% travel to customer project locations.
