The Selling Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional fashion styling services, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales goals using digital tools and technology.

Support Personal Shoppers by preparing and executing appointments, processing sales at POS, managing post-appointment follow-up (order tracking, alterations, thank you notes), maintaining client records and appointment scheduling, assisting with digital selling/social media, organizing gifting initiatives, returning unsold merchandise to stock, and keeping fitting rooms clean.

Lead in-store visual merchandising by implementing seasonal directives and brand installations, developing visual stylists, ensuring daily merchandising standards, managing visual supply budgets, recruiting and retaining talent, collaborating with corporate and store teams to drive sales and customer experience, and delivering monthly and seasonal creative initiatives.

Cultivate client relationships through elevated in-person and digital selling, provide expert styling and brand knowledge, use digital tools and omni-channel inventory to meet sales and conversion goals, leverage social media and technology for outreach, and collaborate to create a positive work environment.

Provide exceptional customer service and beauty consultations, meet and exceed individual and vendor sales goals, maintain merchandised counter standards, use Saks' clienteling tools to build relationships and drive repeat business, support pre-booked facial events, perform professional makeup and treatment applications, and collaborate with team members to close sales.

Lead strategic sourcing for Technology indirect categories: develop sourcing strategies, run cost modeling and analyses, negotiate and manage contracts, drive savings, improve procurement processes, and manage stakeholder and supplier relationships.

Own end-to-end consignment accounting including revenue recognition, inventory accounting, vendor settlements, month-end close, reconciliations, financial modeling, controls and audit support. Partner with Merchandising, Supply Chain and FP&A to analyze consignment performance, build dashboards, drive process improvements and mentor junior analysts.

Lead end-to-end financial reporting, consolidation, and US GAAP technical accounting for an omnichannel retail business. Manage 10-K/10-Q/MD&A preparation, external audit relationships, SOX controls, cross-functional accounting implementations, and mentor a team of reporting and technical accounting professionals.

Lead commercial accounting for inventory and margin across owned, consignment, concessions, and dropship channels. Own GAAP-compliant inventory valuation, reserves, COGS, audits, borrowing base reporting, ERP/IMS/OMS/POS transformations, and a team of accountants. Provide executive analysis, internal controls, and cross-functional partnership to optimize margins and liquidity.
