Lead market and business strategy for a consumer electronics growth segment. Identify market opportunities, develop MRDs and business cases, influence product roadmaps, build ecosystem partnerships, drive revenue, design wins, and customer adoption. Partner with sales, product management, engineering, and exec leadership to commercialize wireless IoT solutions and support launches, enablement, and go-to-market activities.

Define and validate platform-level requirements for embedded wireless SoC products. Translate customer use cases into system and architectural requirements, run feasibility studies, identify risks and mitigations, lead cross-functional technical investigations, produce requirement and architecture documentation, collaborate with R&D, and present technical recommendations to leadership and customers.

Design and verify digital blocks for low-power wireless SoCs. Develop RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog), verification environments, scripts/tools, and collaborate across teams for integration, bring-up, and validation. Debug design and verification issues and document technical findings.

Lead software product marketing for Silicon Labs' Catalog IoT products: set software strategy, own developer experience and enablement, drive BU-wide software prioritization and release alignment, build ecosystem partnerships, define adoption metrics, and implement cross-functional processes to improve release readiness and mass-market adoption.

Verify wireless MCU SoCs focusing on radio datapath and subsystem/SoC integration. Develop SV-UVM and C testbenches for Tx/Rx, MAC-HOST interfaces, low-power modes, and security. Create verification plans, coverage metrics, formal vs functional strategies, and use RNM/Spice and MATLAB models. Build automation using EDA and AI platforms.

Lead and grow the US and Europe verification organization for IP, subsystem, and SoC verification. Drive Gen-AI-based verification strategies, establish MCU verification infrastructure (clocks, reset, low power, interconnects, datapaths), and partner with architecture, design, and implementation teams to define formal, functional, and UPF verification plans and quality processes.

Design, implement, and validate digital logic blocks and SoC architectures for wireless microcontroller products. Develop RTL, models, simulations, and verification plans; collaborate with analog, verification, firmware, and systems teams. Debug designs, support root-cause analysis, participate in design reviews, and assist with silicon bring-up, validation, and characterization.

Develop wireless communication ICs for IoT applications, design and validate analog/mixed-signal circuits, and lead technical teams in chip design projects.

Develop production test strategies, hardware and software for automated test equipment to characterize and qualify mixed-signal, RF, and MCU SoCs. Drive silicon characterization, reliability qualification, stress testing, statistical analysis, yield improvement, and NPI support. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production issues and deliver test solutions from prototype evaluation through high-volume manufacturing.

Lead design and integration of low-power wireless SoCs: define SoC-level power intent and clocking architectures, drive RTL for power/clock/reset controllers and interconnects, debug CDC/RDC/power/clock issues, collaborate across verification, backend, analog teams, and support silicon bring-up while mentoring small design teams.

The Senior Applications Engineer will develop embedded systems, design prototypes, debug hardware/software challenges, and collaborate with teams to influence product direction and customer adoption.
