Develop physics-based multiscale models and simulation frameworks for semiconductor wet processing. Analyze experimental and simulation data, validate predictions, and support process optimization and digital-twin development. The intern will collaborate with global R&D teams, manufacturing groups, customers, vendors, academic partners, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Conduct mechanical and multiphysics simulations for semiconductor 3D integration technologies using finite element software. Design and optimize mechanical elements, develop advanced models, and analyze simulation and experimental results. The internship requires PhD-level study in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field, along with experience in finite element software, machine learning, and Python or MATLAB.

Develop and characterize semiconductor deposition processes on TEL equipment at customer sites. Design optimization experiments, analyze process data, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, support customer demonstrations and adoption, and coordinate with sales, marketing, factory, and internal teams. The role serves as a technical customer interface, supports process startups, ensures processing quality, and may involve domestic or international travel.

Conduct semiconductor hardware research using advanced simulation, experimental methodologies, and data analysis. Develop prototypes, interpret experimental results, publish scientific and patent materials, and integrate research outcomes into development and manufacturing. Lead complex projects involving semiconductor materials, devices, and processes while collaborating with engineering teams, product development, and external partners. Support research strategy, resource planning, technical recommendations, and team leadership.
