Build and operate full-stack trader-facing and internal applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and AWS. Own features from technical design through production, focusing on reliability, scalability, security, observability, testing, and safe deployment. Build and ship Topstep’s mobile trading MVP using React Native and TypeScript for iOS and Android. Own features from design through release, establish reusable architecture and components, integrate GraphQL and real-time data, optimize performance and reliability, write tests, support production, and mentor engineers. Collaborate cross-functionally to create accessible, responsive mobile experiences for high-volume trading activity.

Lead and develop a software engineering team responsible for customer-facing products, payments, onboarding, internal tools, and production systems. Set technical direction, guide architecture, manage reliability and incident response, oversee delivery planning, and partner with Product, Design, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders. The role includes hiring, coaching, performance management, capacity planning, operational excellence, and accountability for system quality, availability, performance, and delivery outcomes.

Own and evolve core areas of TopstepX, a real-time futures trading platform. Define product strategy, lead complex initiatives from discovery through delivery, prioritize trader needs, write requirements, manage roadmaps, and partner with engineering, design, risk, compliance, operations, and support. The role emphasizes platform reliability, performance, resilience, measurable outcomes, and intuitive trader experiences across market data, order management, risk, and performance workflows.

Lead design and delivery of cloud-native .NET services for a high-throughput trading platform. Own end-to-end systems, drive architecture and reliability, mentor engineers, participate in on-call and incident response, and occasionally contribute to React/TypeScript frontend work while establishing engineering standards and observability.

Lead development of automated API, UI, and end-to-end tests for a real-time trading platform. Extend AI-assisted test generation, build scalable CI/CD test frameworks for order lifecycles and market-data streams, reduce flakiness, triage failures, mentor engineers, and drive quality and testability across the product.

Build and own a framework-agnostic charting engine core and its React binding: rendering layers, real-time data plumbing, indicator math, drawing tools, performance (60fps) discipline, visual testing, architectural leadership, mentoring, and integrations across web and mobile.

Build, own, and operate cloud-native .NET services powering real-time trading, market data, and brokerage integrations. Ship features end-to-end, write tests, participate in on-call rotations, improve observability, and occasionally contribute to React/TypeScript frontend work.
