Provides expert-level technical support for complex analytical instrumentation, laboratory software, and integrated systems. Leads escalations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, customer and field-service training, mentoring, strategic deployments, process improvement, and technical content development for AI-enabled support tools. Collaborates across service, sales, product management, and R&D while maintaining service records, quality compliance, and customer relationships across the Central and Western United States. Frequent travel of up to 50–75% is required.

Serve as the North American presales subject matter expert for the waters_connect laboratory software platform supporting LC and LC-MS workflows. Conduct customer discovery, tailored demonstrations, technical consultations, solution scoping, configuration, quoting, and competitive positioning. Advise on deployment, compliance, validation, data management, licensing, upgrades, and expansion opportunities. Partner with sales, product management, marketing, informatics specialists, and professional services while communicating product updates and customer feedback. Travel extensively across the United States and Canada.

Designs and governs cloud architectures for a global software platform supporting scientific laboratory applications. Responsibilities include AWS architecture, security, DevSecOps, Terraform infrastructure as code, regulatory compliance, testing strategy, technical proofs of concept, stakeholder communication, engineering guidance, and mentoring. Requires strong C#/.NET Core and web development experience, AWS certification, architecture-framework knowledge, and familiarity with databases, application servers, and LC/LCMS systems.
