Job Overview

uShip is seeking a talented and energetic individual to join the Community & Member Support team as a Bilingual Community & Member Support Specialist.  This individual will work directly with the Customer Operations team and Managers to enhance all areas of member support and involvement. If you have an interest in learning more about venture-backed start-ups, and are a motivated, smart, and driven individual, this may be the right position for you.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help develop uShip presence in Spanish speaking markets
  • Work with the Community team on member communications and outreach
  • Educate customers on uShip’s products and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve member account issues

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bilingual Spanish speaker (native speaker preferred)
  • Customer service and inbound call experience in a related industry is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, business or similar field (or working toward degree)
  • Eager to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, often with minimal supervision
  • Internet savvy and well versed in running or using transaction based internet sites
  • Ability to understand and respond to customers’ needs in a timely manner via email, phone, and online forums
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility – evening and weekend hours may be required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Highly self-motivated
