Overview: 

As Rapid7 embarks on 2022, the Business Process Architecture team is expanding their efforts to support strategic commercial initiatives, as well as pre and post merger integration activities.

The Business Architecture team supports these initiatives by: 

  • Building a business architecture: Create and maintain the business architecture knowledge base and connecting it to domains outside of business architecture (e.g. customer journeys, system applications).

  • Translating strategy to business capabilities: Evaluate a variety of business scenarios to assess areas for improvement and changes necessary to carry out strategy or reshape the business.

  • Managing the practice: Formalize and maintain a governance structure by creating and maintaining a set of tools, templates, training.

Change at any level requires a degree of impact analysis, planning, communication, and complex collaboration across the organization.

As a Business Process Analyst at Rapid7, you will: 

  • Facilitate meetings to understand customer and business pain points, synthesize the discussion and circulate meeting decisions and action items with clear objectives and success measures.

  • Partner with business process experts to design the future state, and create process flows to translate into functional design. 

  • Engage with project stakeholders for alignment and feedback.

  • Conduct gap analysis to provide recommendations, analytical insights, and process improvements to meet business needs through system automation.

  • Juggle multiple projects and tasks with complex dependencies with other team

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years experience in business analysis or related consulting experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Skilled in delivering BA documentation with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent requirements gathering, business process design, process mapping, and process modelling skills

  • Experience with Agile Methodology 

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM & CPQ

  • Demonstrated ability to execute multiple projects and meet project deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - including presenting and deck work

  • Able to think independently and consider cross-functional and upstream/downstream impacts

  • Structured thinking and problem solving - ability to break down complex problems into composite parts and a naturally inquisitive mindset to properly investigate and resolve problems

 

Desired Skills 

  • Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP

  • Experience in SAAS technology businesses

  • Experience with pricing and packaging and Quote-to-Cash initiatives 

  • Technical Salesforce and/or CPQ experience
