The Business Analyst role within the Global Partner Success Operations (GPSO) (formerly known as Global Sales Operations (GSO)) team is responsible for enabling, troubleshooting, and optimizing sales tools and technology at HomeAway. In this role, you will be a critical player in helping optimize our global sales enterprise telephony and VOIP architecture to help intelligently scale based on business needs. You will also be providing front line Business Analyst support for our sales teams. Primary daily activities include investigating bugs and system issues, facilitating tasks and improvements through Jira (or similar Agile software), working with IT to resolve issues, running reports and analyzing results, answering sales questions regarding systems, and identifying changes for process improvement and long-term system optimization. In addition to the day to day tasks you will provide support to the overall GSO Tools team through testing and system rollout coverage for large roadmap objectives. What you’ll do:

  • Day-to-Day responsibilities include:
    • Get up to speed with HomeAway’s enterprise telephony / VOIP infrastructure and understand what is needed for the Best In Class sales call flow strategy
    • Learn sales processes through process mapping to understand how the technology is used and impacts crafted through change
    • Tackle problems daily issues and engage development or IT support, as needed
    • Responsible for end-to-end business analyst duties including requirements gathering, data analysis, functional design, system implementation, and user acceptance for sales teams
    • Participate in our development process by developing appropriate user stories, test plans, and acceptance testing for all recommended system changes
    • Develop and maintain thorough documentation of system processes and change requests
  • Supporting Our Partners:
    • Work with sales management to understand user needs
    • Drive adoption and awareness of system functions and usage by end users
    • Plan, develop, and deliver appropriate training materials for your projects as well as plan for translation and delivery for global end users

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years in a business analyst role, preferably in an operational capacity leading / supporting enterprise telephony / VOIP system
  • 2+ years of experience in call center QA Operations ecosystem
  • 2+ years of experience leading and/or playing a key role in defining call flow strategies / setting up IVRs
  • 2+ years of experience working within an Agile framework
  • 2+ years of experience working with a sales organization
  • Experience with voice-to-text platforms and analytics preferred
  • Testing and QA experience is a plus
  • System Administration a plus
  • VOIP Company Related Familiarity a plus (AVAYA, CISCO, 8x8, 3Com, Polycom, Lucent Technologies, Google Voice)
  • Understanding of CRM capabilities regarding configuration and custom development a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required
