What we're looking for:
Our People Operations team is evolving! The Director, HR Business Partner lives our values, understands our culture and possesses the experience of delivering all HR services to internal client groups to drive outstanding performance. You will learn the business and culture and will provide strategic HR partnership to senior leaders and their teams. By exercising your leadership skills, you will lead by example, influence without authority, propose and implement needed changes to support the company's business initiatives.
The ideal candidate has experience as a senior level integrated Business Partner. You will work on key initiatives that include leadership development, talent development and processes, employee relations, performance management, culture, and diversity. You will be a people champion, business accelerator, and data-driven change leader, and you will build deep trusted relationships that allow you to be a change agent in a growing environment.
What you'll do :
- Play a lead role in the design and execution of talent projects in support of our business strategy and operational priorities
- Lead the design and execution of performance management, leadership development, succession planning, coaching, and talent reviews to our leaders and managers
- Integrate into the business and be the trusted resource in all things People Operations
- Partners with managers and recruiting to develop interviewing, hiring and onboarding plans that support business objectives and advance business priorities
- Support the business through organizational changes throughout the M&A process
- Create processes that allow the interdepartmental collaboration between the business and People Operations
- Partner with leadership and help manage organizational development, succession planning and over learning and organizational development needs
- Demonstrate an understanding of the vision, purpose, and strategy of the business - and articulate a talent strategy and deliver HR services to meet the objectives
- Establish effective partnerships with business leaders to influence talent decisions by providing tailored advice and leveraging expertise for specific business needs.
- Drive informed decision-making by using data to identify trends; work with business leaders to determine the root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
- Partner with People Ops Recruiting and Operations teams to execute on business priorities and identify solutions.
- Ensure alignment of people practices and HR initiatives deployed across the teams
- Be a trusted resource and coach to help the company's managers and directors evolve and grow as a leadership team
What we'd love to see:
- At least 7+ years of HR business partner or generalist experience, ideally in start-ups scaling through the growth phase. working closely with leaders and employees.
- Experience partnering with executives and company leaders
- Ability to use data analytics in generating insights and presenting findings back to the business, as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data.
- Demonstrated experience influencing and building strong and trusted relationships and networks.
- Ability to execute company-wide talent initiatives with excellence and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, along with the ability to articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly that are delivered with simplicity, authenticity and empathy.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire trust and openness amongst colleagues and clients together with a reputation for high personal integrity.
- Strong problem-solving skills: capable of executing sound judgment in ever changing situations while considering multiple perspectives and potential implications
- Ability to cut through complexity and turn strategic objectives into targeted initiatives and actions
