What you'll do:

• You develop novel techniques to process and analyze events on a real-time streaming platform, creating solutions which satisfy security, compliance and privacy requirements.
• You collaborate closely with Data Privacy teams to implement and expand features and controls on data related to Privacy and Security purposes.
• Build modern data pipelines and data streaming using tools such as Apache Kafka/KStream
• Modernize and expand our existing data processes to use cloud based technologies.
• Following Agile practices, you develop quality scalable, tested, and reliable data services using industry best practices.
• Create and maintain quality software using best-in-class tools: Git, Splunk, AWS, Kafka, MongoDB, IntelliJ.

Who you are:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of professional software development experience with 4+ years Java
• Technical leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work well cross-functionally across multiple departments
• An analytical problem solver that is passionate about delivering a high quality user experience
• Experience developing applications on NoSQL and streaming platforms (Kafka, K-Streams).
• Experience designing and building RESTful Web Services/API.
