What We Need

31st Union is growing. We’re in a hiring push for our North American studios and need an experienced Talent Acquisitions Specialist. The idea person will have full cycle recruiting experience in either gaming, entertainment, or tech. Partnering with hiring managers, build structured interview plans and processes. Develop a sourcing strategy, pipeline, screen, and ultimately drive the end-to-end hiring program for your internal client groups. Not afraid of reporting, will use data to help drive hiring results for your teams but help identify ways we can improve the experience and outcomes for them. Please note, that this Talent Acquisitions Specialist role is a contract (temp) position, up to 12 months.

What You Will Do

  • Directly source candidates, both passive and active, and implement creative ways to find the talent we need.
  • Recruit and close exceptional talent ensuring an unparalleled candidate experience.
  • Partner with TA team and hiring managers to develop a successful recruitment strategy for hiring priorities.
  • Creatively and proactively source candidates through a variety of methods.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of data within our applicant tracking system.
  • Partner with our recruiting coordinator on interview logistics and scheduling and ensure effective handoffs and communication.

What Will Make You a Great Fit

  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, or a combination of sourcing and full-cycle recruiting
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience for Gaming, Entertainment, Tech, and/or Creative Services or Product companies.
  • Combined experience as an in-house recruiter and agency or boutique search firm experience
  • Work quickly but efficiently; have keen attention to detail and keep Hiring Managers informed and databases clutter free.
  • Ability to change priorities on a dime, prioritize business-critical roles and adjust schedules rapidly all while keeping candidates engaged.
  • Thrive on creating deep, trusted partnerships with the team and hiring managers; all working towards the common vision of a team of highly talented, joyful, diverse developers.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions for both the business and candidates.

What does your typical day look like?

I work in Mocap Post Production. I’m mainly responsible for Head Mounted Camera footage in the post-processing and QA stage. I’m also the Lead for our small third volume, which we use exclusively for ROMming talent and props. I support processing the Mocap data and QA which helps to prepare assets for delivery. It’s very busy and very rewarding!
