HRIS Senior Manager
Q2 is seeking a HRIS Senior Manager who will provide hands on management of our human resource technologies, which are designed to support the growth of the business, our employees, and the company’s overall mission. The HRIS Senior Manager will plan and direct the establishment and ongoing administration of Human Resources Information Systems to support short- and long-range Human Resources goals. This individual will oversee the specification, development, and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports and policies and procedures for internal use. In addition, he/she will manage relationships with software and hardware vendors and ensure the development of proper training and documentation for system use and maintenance.

The role will be strategic, but also hands-on, and will ideally have a mix of large company experience coupled with entrepreneurial, high-growth company experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the implementation of new functionality including determining stakeholder and business value, requirements gathering, testing, roll-out, and ensure end-user training and adoption
- Provide a deep understanding of HR processes and expert technical knowledge of one or more HCM solutions such as Workday, Oracle, SuccessFactors, etc. to lead in the configuration/development and deployment of new modules and functionality, developing workflows and ensuring system integrity
- Provide production support, including configuration of annual processes, e.g., Annual Merit and Performance Management
- Provide line of sight into ongoing system support work, estimate the delivery of issue fixes and product enhancements, manage vendor resources where applicable and ensures ongoing alignment with business operations
- Update and maintain business processes and condition rules
- Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrade releases
- Play a key role in supporting the relationship with key customer groups including the Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and People Operations teams by providing responsive customer service and proactive communication
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the HRIS function
- Instill a strong customer focused mind-set within the team to ensure adherence to the strategic roadmap of the People organization
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
- 10-12 years’ progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in disciplines/processes related to the position
- 6+ years’ progressive experience in HRIS design and administration to include vendor management
- 2-5 years’ formal management or team lead experience required
- Previous experience working in a software technology company with growing employee population in multiple geographies preferred
- Strong knowledge in all areas of HRIS regulations and compliance
- Strong computer skills to include proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and advanced proficiency with MS Excel
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making capability
- Must be poised, creative, proactive, pragmatic, high energy, a self-starter and team player who has the personal and professional self-confidence to influence people and manage large groups
- Demonstrable ability to quickly adapt to and manage changing environments as well as ability to guide employees through the change management process
- Ability to work flexible hours as required by the needs of the business
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Workday Certification
- Experience with various desktop and web-based applications is a plus (Adobe Acrobat Pro, Snagit, Citrix)
- Experience with various virtual training platforms is a plus (e.g., Adobe Connect 9, WebEx, Zoom, etc.)
