Manager, HR Technology (Workday)
As a Manager of HR Technology (Workday), you will be responsible for delivering Workday technology solutions that align with business strategies, while enabling efficiency and access to information. You will develop and lead the Workday technology roadmap and support ongoing people priorities. This role is part of the Human Resources organization and is a direct report to the Director, HR Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Model SailPoint's Four I's - Innovation, Integrity, Impact, and Individuals.
- Develop and lead the technical plan for Workday HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Payroll, Reporting, Compensation, Advance Compensation, Benefits and/or Performance/Talent Management.
- Lead and mentor a team. Develop the team for individual and organization success.
- Proactively lead and support projects. Manage project risks/issues and implement effective mitigation plans.
- Oversee testing of new system features and releases.
- Support Workday technology updates. Lead assessment of impact of new Workday features, coordinate rollout and testing with team and business partners.
- Collaborate with the HR team and understand prioritization of implementations
- Coordinate and manage the HR technology audit and break fix needs.
- Work collaboratively with IT counterparts to ensure effective management of security roles.
- Manage Workday QA and user acceptance training.
- Enable use of data within Workday in support of business objectives.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Workday. Background in, and strong understanding of, broad Human Resource systems and data flow.
- Must have Workday implementation/support experience for at least 5+ years
- Demonstrated success in technical lead within a corporate environment of similar size and complexity as SailPoint.
- Must have the ability to lead a variety of projects from start to finish, including needs assessment, analysis, solution design, implementation, testing and change management.
- Must demonstrate ability to focus on solving business problems; requiring judgment and influencing skills.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail, drive for data integrity, strong planning, organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to coordinate with, influence and maintain effective working relationships with others at job levels above and below your own.
- Must be able to use discretion in handling confidential and/or proprietary information.
- Must be comfortable with autonomy and ambiguity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Global experience preferred.
