The Executive Search team plays a critical role in unleashing the potential of our team , helping us to inclusively hire multiplier leaders that empower the Atlassian team to deliver remarkable outcomes for customers. We serve as partners to Atlassian's Leadership Group (ALG) in building their team, serving as strategic advisors who offer much more than a filled position.
Executive Recruiters embed within specific crafts and teams, serving as Client Leads for our C-Suite and their direct leaders, driving everything from interview process and search strategy to executive compensation. Our most successful recruiters are data-driven in managing search health and progression, passionate about advising and coaching their stakeholders (even if that means tough conversations), and fully committed to inclusive hiring. We're a fast-paced, agile, and still somewhat scrappy team (we're new!) so if you're a builder - you'll thrive with us!
On Your First Day, We'll Look For You To Have:
  • A strong recruiting background (most candidates will have 6+ years' experience) with demonstrable success leading senior stakeholders to successful hiring outcomes
  • Exceptional command of the end to end recruiting process, including sourcing & screening talent, building candidate relationships and closing talent, and building trusting, successful hiring manager partnerships
  • Experience leveraging recruitment data to provide insights and drive behavior change (where needed) with key stakeholders
  • Exposure and a commitment to inclusive hiring practices designed to improve representation of URGs within Atlassian
  • The ability to drive strategic projects from creation to launch to improve outcomes within Executive Search, and Talent Acquisition overall (such as vendor management strategy and candidate experience enhancements)
  • Alignment with our values, which are table stakes for how we collaborate, grow, and win as a team

Executive Search has always been a specialized craft, and even moreso within the context of a rapidly scaling and evolving Atlassian. Exclusively focused on hiring at the M6+ level, we empower our hiring leaders through competitive market mapping and intelligence, remarkable candidate experiences, proactive talent engagement, and inclusive hiring practices.
Our team is structured into squads of Principal Recruiters & Researchers who specialize in R&D, GTM, G&A, and Operations hiring, enabling our team to truly embed within the business we support. With a paired researcher and recruiter model, we dive deep to not only surface top talent, but to build a comprehensive understanding of our talent pool - from regional nuances and trends, to representation, to competitor org design. In rare instances, we'll partner with outside search firms who bring strong networks and depth of craft expertise to accelerate and enhance hiring outcomes.
