Vice President, Global Total Rewards - Compensation & Benefits (Remote)
About the role:
Reporting to our CHRO, as CrowdStrike’s Vice President, Global Total Rewards you will be responsible for leading strategy, design, and development of CrowdStrike’s Total Rewards programs. You will lead and manage Compensation and Benefits teams, partner with C-level/Board stakeholders, and ensure our Total Rewards programs support CrowdStrike’s overall Business and Talent Strategy. You will be responsible for all elements of compensation (broad-based, executive, cash, and incentive), benefits (core programs, health and wellness), and compensation analytics (insights for our senior leadership and Board).
You will:
Build and set the vision & strategy for Total Rewards programs that ensure CrowdStrike continues to attract, motivate, and retain the best talent for our company.
Build the team, develop existing talent, and attract exceptional talent to grow the function and deliver exceptional programs.
Have a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset. You will not only build your team, but you will also play a hands-on role and get into the weeds as needed to ensure group success.
Design and deliver all programs and workflows around compensation and benefits (e.g., hiring, compensation refresh cycles, promotions, transfers, budgeting, design, benchmarking, effectiveness assessments, and equity management).
Partner with our executive team, People, Finance, and Legal, to build and deliver a robust Executive compensation program.
Partner with Legal, Finance on Compensation Committee prep and presentations.
Drive communication and education of Total Rewards programs and long-term value to employees, managers, and candidates.
Partner with our HR Tech & Ops team, to build tools and systems, as well as ensure our HRBPs and employees understand our philosophy and application of our Total Rewards programs.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations both in the U.S. and internationally, working with internal groups to ensure audits are completed, spending is monitored, and all company-sponsored plans align with legal requirements.
Own job analysis, evaluation, market pricing and salary surveys, career path/ladder formation in a transparent fashion and with equity at the forefront.
Oversee employee equity program and deliverables for the BOD.
Oversee the company's benefits programs, including health, welfare, and retirement programs globally and monitor market trends to make recommendations for changes, as appropriate.
What you will need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and a minimum of 10+ years of Total Rewards in a global technology-centric scaling organization, including compensation & benefits experience.
Minimum 5 years’ Total Rewards (compensation & benefits) team leadership experience.
Recent experience in Technology, preferably SaaS/Cloud-based, fast-paced and high-growth environment.
Grit, can-do attitude. Ability and willingness to roll up sleeves as needed to ensure group success.
Proven track record of influencing, leading and facilitating strategic total rewards initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders (C-level and Board).
Experience in change management and influencing across complex areas such as pay transparency, tradeoffs in systems, scaling programs through company life stages, etc.
Experience and responsibility of implementing and managing global pension/retirement plans.
Experience selecting and managing global vendors and brokers.
Ability to approach key decisions and changes with a high level of rigor.
Ability to present multiple solutions to leadership while outlining the appropriate trade-offs
Global benefits experience including knowledge of health and wellness plans/perks, leaves and time off practices, and retirement plans.
Possess strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Passion for working and learning in a fast-growing company.
Demonstrated global Total Rewards expertise in all areas, especially in executive compensation, market pricing, job architecture, and benefits.
Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of all regulatory requirements to ensure company compliance.
