The Opportunity:

HomeAway Customer Experience is seeking an Intern for our Global Education and Knowledge team. The primary responsibility for this position is the design of training for North American customer support teams. During the internship, this position will primarily work on an e-learning project with measurable outcomes and objectives, relating to training design, development, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create training materials for customer support agents
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and members of the training team to ensure accuracy of training content
  • Utilize feedback forms to iterate on and improve training material

Requirements:

  • You are working toward a degree in Education, Information, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • You have the ability to work well independently
  • You possess excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
  • You are Flexible and have good problem solving skills
  • You are able to develop a working relationship with subject matter experts through effective and timely communication
  • You have given presentations or delivered training in a classroom environment
  • You have experience navigating an LMS such as Saba, Canvas, or Blackboard
  • You are experienced in using e-learning software such as Articulate260, Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, etc and willingness to improve skills in this area
