The Day to Day

  • Provide global strategy and support for Procurement contracts administration, including managing, drafting, redlining, negotiating and finalizing company agreements.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external customers to expertly drive the contract review and approval process to completion.
  • Analyze, lead and validate all aspects of incoming non-disclosure agreements, software-as-a-service customer, partner, contractor and other company agreements, applying general contract and intellectual property principles knowledge to independently address a variety of contract issues.
  • Conduct initial review of all incoming contract requests and correspondence to identify any terms that vary from corporate standards to ensure accuracy and compliance, recommend appropriate modifications, collaborating with internal partners in the sales, professional services, corporate finance and other internal organizations as may be required.
  • Lead and maintain all contracts, contract policies and procedures and document tracking and reporting requirements.
  • Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities.
  • Negotiate contracts, demonstrate pricing and terms of business with suppliers reviewing opportunities to achieve savings.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly metric reports.
  • Work closely with partners in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous and business improvements. Customer centric.
  • Build, maintain and handle supplier relationships through reciprocal communications.

Your Expertise and Passion

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. 8-10 years related contract work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate contract concepts effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • International experience is required. Previous experience with a SaaS technology company is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of contracting, software licensing and intellectual property rights and principles. Cloud/SaaS subscription arrangements and corporate agreements knowledge a plus.
  • Working knowledge of a Contract Lifecycle Management tool.
  • Excellent social and negotiation skills and the ability to develop close working relationships and work reciprocally with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to effectively multi-task, reprioritize and work dedicatedly and independently to meet deadlines and drive agreements to conclusion.
  • Contract negotiations are required.
  • Strong customer focus, a passion for producing high-quality work.
  • Has working knowledge of commonly-used procurement concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding and cost breakdown.
  • CLM Tool / P2P procurement system management exposure beneficial.
  • Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures for the E2E P2P process.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding and cost breakdown.
  • Strong analytical, change management, task/project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work reciprocally in a demanding environment where flexibility is imperative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent time and project management skills – can coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a high-paced business culture.
  • Ability to chip in, reduce costs and input to business operational improvements.
  • Computer literate, Coupa, Netsuite with advanced MS Office and Google Suite knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures for the E2E P2P process.
  • Reports to Director - Global Procure to Pay (P2P)
