We are seeking an outstanding Account Associate to join our growing team. Real Chemistry is looking for driven, savvy game changers who are ready to dive into the trenches and make an immediate impact!
The Account Associate on the communications team has primary responsibility for supporting the team on internal and external communications, particularly social media. S/he has a strong capability in project management and interest in communications. S/he helps to build the company’s thought leadership and reputation via social media, writing, internal communications, project management, and marketing activities.
Job responsibilities:
Monitor, flag, and recommend engagement for social media accounts of Real Chemistry and executives
Source and suggest content in collaboration with team leads
Partner with video and creative to develop strategic plans and creative ideas
Help build “rapid response” model to respond to and lead on issues
Drive growth and development of executives’ social platforms, in partnership with team leads
Measure content performance and impact
Support monitoring needs for Real Chemistry announcements
Manage timelines, calendars, project trackers and overall account support materials; ensure the team is on track with results and timelines
Develop written materials including social media content, press releases, email newsletters
Stay on top of trends of relevance to client and flag as appropriate
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
Previous internship experience in a PR company is desired
Highly organized with attention to detail; ability to multi-task and mindful of deadlines
Thrives in fast-paced environment
Professional presence; perform with a sense of urgency and with a client service mindset
Proven experience tackling projects with limited supervision
Able to articulate solutions to problems on an ongoing basis
Independent problem solver but great teammate who works effectively and efficiently as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint
Excellent research and writing skills
Solid understanding of social media vehicles; comfortable leading and drafting communications around them
Strong written and oral communications and presentations skills
