Opportunity:

The Director Global Partner Product Marketing will bring new technologies and products to market for HomeAway’s global partners, owners and property managers. This leader will shape and lead a team that launches and drives the success of our products and services.

Critical to the success of the role includes developing a deep understanding of HomeAway’s customers and market, developing and leading global go-to-market strategies, ensuring internal and external readiness for launches, and creating strong and enduring product positioning and messages with effective marketing campaigns to support them. Due to the entrepreneurial and dynamic nature of our business, this an exciting opportunity with a blend of both strategy and execution

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies: Create the go-to-market strategy to deliver new products to market and lead the cross-functional implementation; you’ll develop and test positioning, messaging, and additional collateral to support the success of your plan.
  • Product positioning: Identify the target audiences, clearly articulate value propositions and positioning statements that are the core of our product offering and messaging.
  • Product Messaging: Craft customer driven benefit statements that make partners want to use our products.
  • Find opportunities to improve adoption, engagement, and education of partner products: Build helpful, clear and compelling content to drive product adoption, education and engagement.
  • Identify and broadcast customer and market opportunities: Develop a deep understanding of our industry, products and customers and use this knowledge to make our products, company and marketing plans better for HomeAway and our partners.
  • Product launches and campaigns: Once the launch strategy is defined, you'll partner on building the programs and launch plans for the product to be successfully introduced. You’ll work closely with product and analytics to evaluate the performance of the programs, optimizing along the way.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years eCommerce or other relevant experience
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in a global capacity; B2B and B2C preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in interacting and working across all levels of the organization and with external partners
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong bias for action
  • Understanding and validated ability of building successful go-to-market strategies leading to quick adoption and lasting usage
  • A proven and successful track record of increased product market share through well-executed marketing
  • Strong analytical capabilities
