The Director, Ad/Media Operations is responsible for oversight of Ad Operations for Real Chemistry. This role is essential in the trafficking of digital media campaigns, and the ongoing education of client teams regarding technology trends in the field of Ad Operations and digital media.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of Managers, Senior Associates, & Associates
  • Present Ad Ops services and processes to clients and outside agency partners
  • Explain and promote new services to clients (e. g. OBA compliance, viewability, dynamic creative, etc.)
  • Document Ad Operations processes for internal use
  • Build client-facing documentation on Ad Operations concepts
  • Lead training sessions on Ad Ops topics for account teams
  • Lead onboarding process of new clients, as it relates to ad serving, trafficking, tagging, and targeting
  • Stay current with the latest trends, ad serving methodologies, and processes related to new technologies and existing systems
  • Evaluate and test new ad technology services, and proactively promote services to account teams
  • Spearhead methodologies for ad serving and website traffic
  • Work across multi-disciplines to ensure workflows across website tag management, website tracking, ad trafficking, 3PAV, and measurement

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 10+ years of experience in Ad Operations, either publisher, agency, or ad tech vendor
  • 3 - 4 years of management experience
  • Passionate about Digital Media
  • Open minded, and willing to accept ideas from people at all levels
  • Thorough understanding ad serving technologies
  • Experience working with Tag Management Systems
  • Experience working with 3rd party creative vendors, specifically as it relates to dynamic creative setups
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts to people of different backgrounds
  • Fast learner of new and unfamiliar technology interfaces
  • Proficient in Excel; Pivot Tables, Formulas, etc.
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proactive and eager to learn
  • Natural teacher and mentor
