RetailMeNot is looking for an Account Manager to join our growing Agency team in sunny, downtown Austin. In this role, you will support Agency Account Directors with Data Analysis, RFP Responses, reporting, and more. You will interact with clients through phone and email with oversight by the Account Director, and occasionally meet with clients on-site. You will work closely with cross functional groups to build and execute custom digital media campaigns, often being the main point of contact in our home office. You will retrieve data from 3rd party and internal systems to generate reports and presentations used to analyze client performance and make recommendations on future strategy and growth.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, liberal arts or communications from a four-year college or university
  • You have 2 to 5 years experience in Digital Media Planning, Strategy or Account Management
  • You're an expert in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • You're able to multi-task and meet tight agency deadlines
  • You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • You are an excellent communicator and have great interpersonal skills
  • You love working in a dynamic, results driven environment and have a can-do attitude
  • You have agency experience or experience at a Digital Media Publisher
  • You have general knowledge of the advertising industry and clients business objectives
  • You've got a real passion for Digital Media and excited about the opportunity to be a self starter as we grow the Agency Team
  • You have knowledge of Footfall Attribution or Online Attribution to report on campaign success.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM Services is a plus!

What You'll Do

  • You'll collaborate with Account Directors to develop account strategy to grow our agency business.
  • You’ll coordinate cross functional support for your Accounts, working with Merchandising, Media Planners, and additional departments at RetailMeNot to respond and execute agency RFPs and campaigns.
  • You’ll monitor and report on optimization of campaigns, and develop strategic insights for future campaigns.
  • You’ll work closely with Account Directors to manage client communication during both the Pre-Sale and Post-Sale phases of the sales cycle.
