RetailMeNot is looking for a Gift Card Account Manager to join our Retail & Brand Solutions team in sunny, downtown Austin. In this role, you will support Account Directors and merchants with data analysis, reporting, and more. You will interact with RBS clients through phone and email with oversight by the Account Director, and occasionally meet with the client on-site. You will retrieve data from 3rd party and internal systems to generate reports and presentations used to analyze partner performance and provide recommendations on strategy and growth. You will also help with various account management tasks including day-to-day management of accounts working directly with clients, networks, and agencies to ensure overall success of client goals.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, liberal arts or communications from a four-year college or university
  • You have 2 to 5 years experience in account management, payments/gift cards, marketing or project management
  • Knowledge of branded currency (closed loop gift cards), e-commerce, payments or digital promotion strategies highly preferred.
  • You're experienced in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • You're able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • You've used Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Ability to sort, check, count, verify and analyze numbers and reports
  • Creative thinking and analytical skills to determine the best path forward when multiple solutions are possible.
  • You are an excellent communicator and have phenomenal interpersonal skills
  • You love working in a dynamic, results driven environment and have a can-do attitude
  • Proven ability to consistently handle and prioritize multiple tasks across multiple clients
  • You've got a real passion for technology
  • You must be located or willing to relocate to Austin, Texas

What You'll Do

  • You'll collaborate with Account Directors to develop account strategy to grow our client’s business.
  • You’ll coordinate cross functional support for your Accounts, working with the gift card team and additional departments at RetailMeNot.
  • You’ll monitor and report on effectiveness of promotional strategies.
  • You’ll track sales opportunities and make recommendations for strategic shifts.
  • You’ll monitor market trends and keep the team aware of landscape shifts.
  • You’ll serve as the voice and advocate for our clients internally
  • You’ll oversee implementation and ongoing brand management for clients
