About Juniper Square

Our mission is to make the world’s private capital markets more efficient, transparent, and accessible. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets and as a result bringing access to millions who don’t currently benefit from one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology—all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization—we want to hear from you. We’ve doubled our team in each of the past four years while maintaining an excellent culture and staying true to our values. We are well-funded and building for the long-term. We need YOU to help us achieve our mission.

About your role

Juniper Square is seeking a high-achieving professional to help chart the strategic and operational course of a fast-growing technology startup. You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with other senior executives at the company to ensure that we meet our objectives in the near term, and help the company achieve our mission over the long term. You’ll get hands-on experience with scaling a Series C startup across a wide variety of departments, and you’ll be able to grow into other roles as the company continues its hyper-growth.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the CEO to design and execute company-wide strategic initiatives
  • Facilitate the chief decision-making body of the company, the Senior Leadership Team
  • Manage a regular strategic planning process, including working with department leaders to define, manage and track their OKRs and strategic priorities
  • Frame strategic decisions (e.g., new market opportunities) and conduct structured analytical, cross-functional, and market evaluation work to answer them
  • Use your unique vantage-point to surface opportunities and gaps for the company, while developing sufficient influence among senior leaders to tackle those issues
  • Guide our company towards increasingly sophisticated and effective operating methods, including more effective remote working rhythms
  • Deeply understand our business model, the dynamics of our industry, and the needs of our customers
  • Partner with the CFO, CEO, and other executives to help prepare board materials and conduct supplemental analyses
  • Set the agenda and lead the operational cadence of companywide all-hands and equivalent meetings

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years work experience as a top performer in a high-stakes environment
  • Structured and rigorous program manager; keeps the trains running on time
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Systems thinker, with ability to both see the big picture and quickly master the details
  • Skilled at building relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Collaborates with humility and leads without ego
  • Strong EQ: able to understand where people are, what they need, and how to push them
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Strong leadership potential, interested in management best practices
  • Unmatched persistence and curiosity
  • Upbeat, positive, inclusive attitude
  • Experience with private equity, commercial real estate, and/or a passion for investing are pluses

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
  • Health, dental, and vision care for you and your family
  • Unlimited vacation policy and paid holidays
  • Generous paid family leave, medical leave, and bereavement leave policies
  • 401k retirement savings plan
  • Healthcare FSA and commuter benefits programs
  • Professional development stipend
  • Monthly work from home wellness stipend while we're all remote
  • Mental wellness coverage including live coaching and therapy sessions
  • Home office productivity allowance to help create an ideal work from home setup

If you got to this point, we hope you're feeling excited about the job description you’ve just read! Even if you don't feel that you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply. We're eager to meet people that believe in Juniper Square's mission and can contribute to our team in a variety of ways – not just candidates who check all the boxes.
