The role:

The TrendKite Legal team is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to work with our sales teams to negotiate and manage our customer agreements. This position will own the contract management function, including running our customer and vendor contracting processes and managing our contract records. A deep understanding of commercial contract issues and deal negotiations, as well as exceptional organizational skills, are essential to this role.

What you'll do at TrendKite:

  • Partner with our sales team to quickly close deals, while ensuring that our agreements comply with our corporate policies and compliance obligations
  • Manage the end-to-end contract review process for a variety of contract types
  • Keep us compliant with our ongoing contract obligations
  • Work alongside our internal teams to resolve contract issues and disputes
  • Own the records and data management for all contract-related documents
  • Identify, analyze and report on key contract and risk metrics
  • Deliver ongoing contracting process and risk management improvements
  • Assist with special legal and business projects as needed

What you MUST bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial sales agreements and related documents (e.g., NDAs, SOWs, and contract amendments)
  • A collaborative, customer-oriented negotiating style
  • Strong grasp of contract and commercial legal principles - you need to be able to quickly identify and communicate legal and business risks to key stakeholders
  • Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills with an exemplary attention to detail
  • A flexible schedule - availability to help close deals at the end of the month is a must!
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional business teams, including finance, product and sales
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (we will not sponsor at this time)

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with SaaS agreements and drafting contract templates
  • Experience with CRM and CM tools like Salesforce, SpringCM and DocuSign
