Customer Communications Specialist - Duo Security
What we'll do together...
As the Technical Communications Specialist on Duo's Customer Enablement team, you will educate our customers about important changes to Duo products by crafting and executing our technical communications campaigns.
As a member of our Customer Success and Support organization, you will write and edit detailed, technical content that involves sensitive changes to our integrations and services. Your primary responsibility will be to connect with our Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to plan and develop email campaigns that will be delivered to targeted groups of customers. In addition, you will help inform our customer-facing team members about these communications programs so that they are equipped with comprehensive, accurate information when they meet with our customers. You will also work with all of the aforementioned teams to refine our change management process.
This role will also include gathering and reporting on communications campaign response, metrics, and engagement. Additionally, this role will manage existing technical customer campaigns and onboarding messaging.
The feedback you gather from our teams and customers will enable you to help develop new processes and content. This role is expected to encompass a wide variety of responsibilities including technical writing, troubleshooting, communications excellence, and project management. While we don't expect you to join Duo with expertise in all of these areas, a strong desire for continuous learning and development is necessary!
Skills you have:
- You understand how to craft verbiage about a difficult topic and are able to plan out potential responses to it well in advance
- You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills as evidenced by a history of writing and editing excellent communications efforts
- You are comfortable presenting on complex topics to internal and public audiences
- You are willing to navigate ambiguity to understand and document answers to complex technical questions
- You are interested in the security field and want to help make people safe
Three reasons why you should apply:
- You want to learn more about Duo as a product and the security space, and you are excited to share that knowledge with the world
- You work best within an empathetic team that is passionate about a common goal
- You are happy when users and customers are happy and frustrated when they are frustrated
This job may not be for you if:
- You stress under the ambiguity of a problem and default to others to provide you with the answers
- You prefer to work alone and don't like to speak up when it means helping others
- You aren't looking to take your career to the next level at a best-in-class SaaS company
Does this sound like it was written for you? If so, please apply and let's explore this together.
