Enterprise Resource Manager
The Enterprise Resource Management Specialist is a highly effective, outcome-driven professional who is used to working in a fast-paced, complex environment. The Enterprise Resource Management Specialist will be responsible for managing supply and demand effectively by determining the best staffing solution for all potential and assigned client engagements - balancing client interests, staffing needs, and business priorities. This role will contribute to the growth of our business, solutions, and geographies; support professional development for the team, and workforce planning to ensure we have the right people with the right skills available at the right time.
Responsibilities:
Partners and liaisons among Premier Services Delivery Teams, Programs, and business leaders to assist in identifying current staffing needs and job requirements to ensure optimal coverage within budgets.
Monitors current availability in assigned areas and determine the approach to resourcing needs based upon current staff.
Partners with talent acquisition (recruiting) and Human Resource Business Partners to facilitate appropriate staffing across the department based on aggregate understanding of project requirements. Provides input to talent acquisition and talent management strategy for assigned areas.
Oversees day-to-day staffing operations to balance the needs of the associate, client, and business, make the best use of resources, and find the right fit for client engagements.
Works to resolve any issues regarding under or over allocations of current resources/employees.
Works in conjunction with subcontractors to provide for additional resourcing needs.
Develops data-driven utilization and forecasting models to scale the business for the future, helping to translate business needs into an actionable staffing model
Partners across the business to optimize job descriptions, skills matrices, and training paths to develop and encourage teams, contributing to a culture of engaged and evolving talent
Assists employees and managers in matching individuals' skills with the organization's staffing needs. Assigns individual skills to guide appropriate job placement decisions and identify individuals for development.
Assists in resourcing project transitions including employee updates to skill repositories.
Works on resource management initiatives that may include: processes, tools, and reporting capabilities to support staffing, utilization management, and resource forecasting
Builds relationships with leadership to become a trusted advisor to achieve business objectives and manage conflict resolution
Addresses and/or mediates employee and manager concerns during selections and transitions to ensure good working relationships. Ensures assignment information is appropriately communicated and documented.
Develops and manages a cross-training program for the Professional Services team, including curriculum, content development, and delivery vehicles with the end goal of maximizing billable resource utilization.
Communicates capacity risks and forecasts to the management team, and provide context to assist leaders in managing stakeholder expectations
Runs weekly resource meeting and facilitate resourcing issues/conflict resolution with Professional Services and appropriate department heads
Qualifications and Experience:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
5+ years of consulting and professional services experience
Experience working with and drawing meaningful business insights from raw data and data visualizations, and using data to craft a narrative
Experience with (and ability to learn) project and resource management tools.
Highly effective in ambiguous situations, with a continuous improvement approach and strong critical thinking skills
Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills, with experience gaining consensus across large and complex organizations
Demonstrated analytic and data management capabilities and reporting presentation of complex data, and solid ability to explain insights to business partners
