SEASONAL E-COMMERCE FULFILLMENT LEAD – DISTRIBUTION CENTER – AUSTIN, TEXAS

Position Overview:
Our Distribution Center is the backbone of Kendra Scott and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team! We provide ‘WOW’ customer service to all of our customers by shipping beautifully wrapped product accurately and efficiently. Reporting to the department Manager, the
Seasonal Fulfillment Lead should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment. They will be trained in all areas of distribution but will specialize in planning, directing, and administering various aspects and activities within the warehouse. Responsibilities:
Leadership
• Responsible for hiring, developing, evaluating, and coaching team members in best practices of company and fulfillment procedures
• Creates and maintains a positive environment and encourages growth and development
• Schedules and allocates warehouse personnel based on daily needs
• Communicates daily expectations to the Floor Assistant and follows up to ensure completion
• Enforces company and departmental policies and verifies consistent application
• Manages all aspects of employee performance, including establishment of objectives,
performance reviews, professional development, and progressive disciplinary process as needed
• Fields general employee inquiries
Process Management
• Sets daily outbound order goals and communicate to the fulfillment team
• Utilizes WMS reports to ensure productivity metrics are met
• Stays up to date with changes in packaging requirements to guarantee service satisfaction
• Enforces safety practices and exhibits safe behaviors
• Identifies ongoing opportunities for improvement and communicates to management
• Provides on the job training for new hires and temporary associates
• Shifts priorities as business dictates, often on short notice
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Works with the waving team to organize daily outbound fulfillment deadlines
• Facilitates efficient operations through strong partnerships with other departments such as IT,
Planning & Allocation, Customer Service, Inventory Control, Receiving, and Returns
• Drives cross-functional process improvements to support quality, productivity, and cost goals
• Encourages communication and teamwork among associates
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
• 2+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in the distribution, retail, or service industries
• College degree or equivalent professional experience
• Excellent computer skills including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with fulfillment software and WMS is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to coach employees with a tactful and motivating approach
• Performance analysis and problem solving capabilities
• Superior self-starting and organizational skills
• Positive attitude that is contagious to others
• Ability to multi-task effectively while demonstrating strong time management skills
• Experience in a fast-paced environment where priorities change on a regular basis
• Passionate about the Kendra Scott brand and core values of Family, Fashion, Philanthropy
• Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 30 pounds; stand/walk for duration of shift
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Typical Shift Schedule:
Wednesday-Saturday 1pm-11pm
