Manager Community Consulting
Overview
This position will be responsible for executing strategy for the Community Services group as determined by the Director, and performing other duties as deemed of organizational strategic importance.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as leader for the Community Consultant group.
Work on client projects, as required.
Responsible for managing and auditing the work of Consultants.
Develop staff through mentoring and continuing education.
Shadow Consultants on consulting, training and UAT sessions.
Serves as a subject matter expert for Consultants.
Communicate and enforce best practices on all engagements.
Responsible for peer review of deliverables.
Onboard and train new hires.
Responsible for the resolution of project-based escalations.
Involved in refinement of Service’s methodology and processes.
Lead in cross department interactions, as required
Partner with Product Management to identify potential future features
Complete other ad hoc duties, as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in a consulting role at a software company or and equivalent of experience
Demonstrated experience in leading a team
Applied critical thinking
Demonstrated experience in business process analysis
Experience working at or with non-profits, trade associations and/or professional societies is a plus
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude
Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with all levels of staff
Strongly prefer a background in social media
Functional knowledge of CSS preferred
