Partner Program and Operations Manager
BigCommerce, named a "Best Place to Work" in Austin 2017, is looking for a Partner Program & Operations Manager to work within the Marketing team at our Austin Four Point Office. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing processes that enable efficiency and effectiveness across multiple business teams, including Partner Marketing, Partner Management, Partner Sales, Product and Finance.
You will have ownership and accountability for the business processes within the Design & Solution Partner Program and recommend and implement improvements that serve the business unit’s goals. You will build on the existing successful processes and look to develop new processes that remove inefficiencies.
You will be managing the Partner Marketing Operations function, dedicated to building efficient, scalable, repeatable, and measurable processes for supporting different types of partner marketing programs.
What You’ll Do
- Understand, map, and analyze all existing Design & Solution Partner Program processes: New Partner Acquisition, Revenue Forecasting & Reporting, Partner Commissions, and Lead Referrals/Tracking
- Collaborate closely with the Business Applications Team (internal Salesforce experts) to map out and create campaign/project workflows and Salesforce processes as well as customized reporting
- Collaborate with BigCommerce subject matter experts to create, implement, and maintain tracking and reporting mechanisms for all projects and campaigns
- Implement new processes or improve existing approaches to optimize for business results
- Manage governance and improvements to the Partner Portal
- Manage, prioritize and establish relationships with third partner technology vendors
- Prioritize ruthlessly by assessing partner, merchant and business impacts of all processes and partner programs
- Cross-functionally consolidate Partner Reporting across the business
- Build and maintain reports on Marketplace activity, updating Partner Sales & Marketing on core KPIs that will help optimize Marketplace performance
- Build transparency and visibility across Marketing, Sales, Product and Finance on key processes and performance
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and process utilization
- Develop and drive implementation of new processes that support partner and revenue growth
- Supervise Partner Acquisition lead handoff processes between Marketing and Sales to ensure consistency, quality and accountability across departments
- Monitor conversion process from partner marketing leads to revenue generation to maximize efficiency and predictability of sales cycle, assisting where necessary to successfully resolve bottlenecks
- Work with finance to ensure timely and accurate billing for Design & Solution Partners
- Supervise the process of contract renewals and commissions payments for Design & Solution Partners
Who You Are
- Operations Professional:
- 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years of operations experience, preferably at a SaaS, eCommerce or other subscription-based company
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
- Demonstrated success with end-to-end process design, rollout, and project management
- Technically-savvy, experienced with spreadsheet software and interpreting business intelligence reports
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Confluence, and other business applications a plus
- Proven record using operations expertise to drive productivity, growth and profitability in a dynamic organization
- Systems-thinker - You approach problem-solving with an eye for mechanisms, incentives and systematic solutions
- Detail-oriented- You are capable of dissecting the nuances of any project, when necessary, and recognize how critical it is to ensure that the small details are in line with the overall objectives
