We will allow you to both explore new skills as well as provide thought-leadership and evangelism around your domain expertise.

Day to day:

• Monitoring/alerting management of production infrastructure to include activities such as: investigating and resolving infrastructure challenges, initiate and track vendor interactions, and perform incident management functions
• Execute production change and security requests
• Research and evaluate production alert trends, develop recommendations, and implement improvements
• You will work closely with Product Management to ensure that your frequent, incremental changes make our customers successful
• We are fanatical about automation because we invest for the future. You will constantly look for opportunities and implement solutions to automate and optimize
• Further an ecosystem of learning and professional development for other specialists
• Be an active participant and advocate for the other members of your scrum team

Your expertise and passion

• Natural problem solving abilities, an inquisitive personality, and an eagerness to pursue the challenge of customer problems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Track record of supporting resilient, scalable, enterprise-grade solutions while encouraging an agile and SRE mindset

Desired skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related field) OR equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) NGINX, and DNS
• Knowledge of python, WordPress, Jenkins, ansible
• General knowledge of or experience working with containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Experience resolving problems with systems at scale in the cloud
