Research Operations Program Manager, General Support
About the Team
The Dropbox Research Operations Team’s mission is to empower successful Research and Researchers by designing and delivering programs and frameworks which help the Dropbox Research & Insights team deliver meaningful work at scale, efficiently and with maximum impact. The Research Operations team at Dropbox is a strategic team, contributing to organizational strategy and executing on organizational and company priorities by creating and implementing the infrastructure needed for Research teams to be effective. We partner closely with other Operations teams, Research leadership, Researchers and other Partners to deliver programs, initiatives and frameworks with measurable success and meaningful outcomes.
Role Description
In this role, you will be supporting the Research Operations team with support across a range of programs and processes and partnering with Research & Insights team members to unblock
research. You will contribute to the development and implementation of new programs, frameworks and initiatives and the on-going evaluation of existing programs.
Responsibilities
- Vendor management and procurement support
- Statement of Work (SOW), Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR) support and approvals
- Support other Research Operations Program Managers and initiatives as needed
- Partner with Researchers and Research Leadership to identify team needs and capture requirements and project goals
- Communicate project and program status
- Partner with other Operations specialists and Business partners as needed
- Learn about Research Operations and Dropbox business and procurement processes
Requirements
- 2+ years in an Operations role
- Experience with vendor management, procurement, SOWs, PRs with demonstrated success
- Interest in UX Research and Research Operations
- Very good project management and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to communicate and escalate issues
- Ability to document, and explain processes and programs
- Ability to gain compliance with existing processes and buy-in from Partners
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with diverse Partners
