Partner Enablement Manager, Sr.
(Remote)

Are you passionate about educating and enabling technologists all around the world? Have xyou worked in a successful channel program at an enterprise agency or company and consider yourself a builder or optimizer? If so, you could be our next Global Partner Enablement Manager! This role is responsible for driving the partner pipeline through enablement programs for WP Engines Top 100 partners. Our primary goal is to educate and influence technical decision makers to use WP Engine as the platform of choice when building enterprise-grade WordPress solutions on behalf of their clients.
This highly visible role falls under our marketing and business development organization. It would be helpful to have experience in content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Dupal, etc.
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist our global partner account team on educating agencies on the value of WordPress and WP Engine.
  • Lead ongoing and proactive technical leadership to WP Engine's valued account agencies with little direction.
  • Uncover a deep understanding of agencies' technical, business, & operational needs.
  • Analyze the agencies' functional requirements to standardize on the WP Engine platform in the short term, while keeping agency partners in mind when creating new products and services in the long term.
  • Conduct workshops, business reviews and proactively suggest solutions to common agency challenges.
  • Coach agencies to be product experts and train their teams on WP Engine's best practices so they become increasingly self-sufficient.
  • Influence marketing with messaging, positioning, areas of interest / concern by agency technical teams and agency-facing content / materials.


Technical expertise in the following categories is a plus!

  • Developer workflows using services like Git, Gulp, Grunt, Jenkins
  • Front-end development
  • REST-ful API endpoints
  • Web technologies - JavaScript, CSS, PHP, etc
  • Web-hosting infrastructure - networking, server set-up and administration, firewalls, web servers
  • Cloud storage / computing - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS concepts
  • Experience with SaaS, logging, monitoring, and medium to large scale architecture
  • Content distribution / CDN


Business Acumen:

  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience presenting at conferences, meetups, and webinars, and contributing to developer communities.
  • The ability to convey complex technical concepts to a wide variety of personas, from developers to CxOs.
  • Experience working with pre-sales, post-sales, partner, and engineering teams to support field activities, and to help shape the evolution of a broad set of products and product capabilities.
  • A willingness to travel - when appropriate - and work autonomously

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience creating and delivering executive-level customer presentations that outline system performance, potential issues, value and suggested forward courses of action.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in a client / pro services, sales engineer, senior support engineer, IT operations management, or senior engineer role exposed to multiple tech areas.
