Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Lead reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for providing support for international and domestic inbound and outbound shipments. This position is responsible to support cross functional and administrative activities, as appropriate. Will act as a liaison with freight providers, customs broker, and Kendra Scott business partners.
Responsibilities:
• Vendor Management:
o Act as the primary point of contact between Kendra Scott and transportation vendors
o Produce vendor scorecards on a quarterly basis
o Identify and suggest vendor performance improvement opportunities based on reporting trends
• Inbound Shipments:
o Utilize inbound tracking feed to keep cross functional partners informed of shipment status
o Identify risks to on-time delivery and partner with internal and vendor teams to mitigate where possible
o Oversee carrier assignments for agent and direct sourced Kendra Scott production PO’s
• Outbound Shipments:
o Partner with Distribution Center functional area leads to asses and plan for outbound shipping support needed.
• Billing & Invoicing:
o Analyze department billing on a weekly basis
o Carry out any billing follow up and credit requests necessary with transportation vendors
o Manage the reporting of vendor credits to cross functional partners
• Administrative:
o Support manager and cross functional partners on initiatives to maximize freight spend
o Assist with development of transportation metrics/reporting
o Maintain standard operating procedure documentation as needed
o Support transportation manager with CTPAT activities
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Applications
• Analytical/Strong Attention to detail
• Excels in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communicator and collaborator
• Previous supply chain experience a plus
• A shared appreciation for our 3 core values of Family, Fashion and Philanthropy
