Responsibilities:
- Part of team for which primary order to invoice responsibilities include:
- Maintenance renewals and subsequent year’s SaaS and term license processing:
- Quoting, research, validation, processing and subsequent invoicing of customer maintenance.
- Maintaining customer assets/entitlements in varied systems for all product lines based on completed renewal.
- Maintain customer files with purchasing and invoicing submission requirements.
- Invoice delivery and submission in multiple portals according to customer requirements.
- Work with key departments including Account Management to ensure timely renewal and payment of invoices.
- Work with lead and management in understanding revenue recognition policy and application
- Exposure to license deal and multi-element arrangement processing and accounting associated with maintenance renewal
- Maintenance renewals and subsequent year’s SaaS and term license processing:
- Primary system maintenance and reporting responsibilities include:
- Assets/Entitlements and Subscription updates and adjustments of data in SalesForce and Intacct systems
- Tracking maintenance renewals bookings for forecasting and team metrics
- Renewal setup for future years in both Intacct and SalesForce systems
- Assisting with monthly accounting and close responsibilities including:
- Answer customer renewal inquires related to service level changes, co-termination of renewal contracts questions and asset entitlements adjustments
- Stand-alone selling price documentation assistance with maintenance renewals for audit and revenue recognition policy
- Provide actual to forecast variance analysis assistance on expected renewals and subsequent billings
- Perform various required tasks for audits/filings
- Work with the team on specialized projects and process development including report generation, system clean up and targeted renewal activities
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum one year of relevant experience, prior software company experience a plus
- Familiarity with general ledger including, monthly close, auditing
- Experience working in a team environment
- Microsoft office experience
- Experience with enterprise accounting systems, Intacct and SalesForce systems a plus
- Business/Accounting degree preferred
