What you’ll do:

  • Work cross-functionally with product management, customer support, customer success, operations, and HR.
  • Provide effective leadership and be responsible for all the site activities.
  • Lead, manage, and develop an effective R&D staff by communicating expectations, providing resources, building technical quality capabilities, and measuring results against those expectations.
  • Act as site manager, lead recruiting and hiring efforts, making the hiring decisions, and plan headcount and requirements to meet goals.
  • Provide effective leadership and be responsible for all the site activities.
  • Create a culture of quality awareness, teamwork, and with all groups within the office, in line with the company’s values.

What will you need to have?

  • Strong technical background as a hands-on developer that grew to technical leadership roles and general management-type responsibilities.
  • You’re an experienced dev leader who’s managed all R&D aspects, including devs, DevOps, QA, Automation, Project managers, and Architects.
  • Experience in building engineering teams for small and mid size technology companies.
  • You’re experienced with Agile / Scrum.
  • You're a diligent, communicative, and organized leader who can see ahead to future challenges and potential issues and be ready to address/solve them with a plan of action.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You don't get flustered with constant change and are able to pivot quickly.
  • You love numbers, everything R&D, and will support your team while keeping everyone on track and be able to accurately report updates to the Chief R&D Officer and executives when asked.
