The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced VP of Skills Management to join our team and help us transform how we help organizations develop new technology skills. Reporting to the EVP and GM of Skills, this person will lead a cross-functional team of product managers, product designers, and operations personnel to create solutions that help technology and learning leaders up-skill their organizations. In particular, the Skills Management team will build products and services that surface skill development insights for technology leaders, as well as experiences that enable them to align their technology strategy and objectives with skill planning. This role will work closely with product marketing to ensure our customers clearly understand how our solutions map to their needs. The VP of Skills Management will work with all parts of the business, including Engineering, Strategy and M&A, Sales, Marketing, People and Places, in addition to the senior leadership team. We're looking for someone with experience building world class B2B product solutions, doing so in a way that models our values and behaviors.

What you'll own:
- Skills Management product, including product development, UX/UI, operations, analytics, and partnership with engineering and product marketing connected to this product to drive growth. You will heavily partner with the go-to-market teams.
- Defining who we are selling to, what their pain points are, and what to build to solve their problems
- Drive Skills Management vision, goals, responsibilities, KPIs, and how best to allocate given resources
- Build a cohesive product and services solution that enables tech and learning development leaders to deliver on their objectives
- Work with revenue, marketing, and engineering leadership to drive the success of Skills Management products and services
- Develop an amazing team of Pluralsighters passionate about our mission
Experience you'll need:
- Has led cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to deliver great products and services, including a broad range of experience across product management, product design, and engineering.
- Proven ability to create a compelling strategy and translate it into execution that delivers results
- Deep understanding of B2B product development and the ability to effectively collaborate on sales conversations
- You understand how to get the best from people and you have built successful teams and organizations from the ground up
- Executive presence and gravitas including onstage presence
- Ability to inspire and align teams located across the globe including all departments across the company
- Understands and is familiar with modern product development and human centered design preferred
- The successful candidate has experience leading leaders of leaders
- Comfort with shared accountability for go-to-market outcomes, including billings growth
