The Opportunity:

Our Product Managers play a key role in shaping the direction of our company. We are looking for entrepreneurial Product Managers to help innovate and execute product initiatives across the company.

This role is on the Partner Experience team and will be responsible for driving our HomeAway & VRBO mobile owner app development to ensure our home owners can manage their vacation rentals successfully. As part of the Product Management team, the Product Manager contributes to the success of the team by leading the product lifecycle: setting the strategic vision and product roadmap based on market research and testing, defining requirements, and collaborating with development to design, implement, test, refine and deploy new features.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the product vision and roadmap for the HomeAway & VRBO owner mobile application.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and user research to define requirements and prioritize development work.
  • Monitor and investigate customer feedback, net promoter scores, and customer service metrics to ensure we have a world-class customer experience.
  • Work closely with designers to test experiences that increase the adoption of the products and improve marketplace conversion.
  • Work daily with the development team to ensure projects are clearly defined and executed.
  • Handle resolution of urgent technical issues while communicating changes to business partners
  • Launch new products by collaborating with partner success, customer service, product marketing, and marketing on go-to-market and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Lead competitive watch activities to identify gaps and opportunities to improve owner and traveler experience.
  • Collaborate with analysts & data scientists to define, track, and report on data.
  • Work with the executive management team to ensure they are fully engaged in product launch decisions.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the position, you must have demonstrated meaningful and current expertise in directing online strategy and development of business-to-business and consumer-focused products. Product Managers should be passionate about well-designed online and mobile products, end-user experience, and evolving methodologies in software development.

  • 3+ years of experience working with product development teams, preferably in a B2C company
  • Acute passion and interest in mobile technology.
  • Experience working with UI/UX design and usability.
  • Experience with A/B testing to drive improvement in customer experience and business results.
  • Experience utilizing web analytics and data analysis to aid business decisions.
  • Experience with agile product development and a rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience using a data to make confident decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and designers to drive product enhancements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • High level of initiative and commitment to building a world-class user experience for our customers.
  • BS or BA in computer science or an equivalent field.
