Specifically, you’ll lead customer insights and go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new products and programs that serve Expedia Group’s supply partners.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our partners and our market. You will identify partner needs and will champion them through the product lifecycle from concept through launch. What you’ll do:
Partner with research teams to establish and execute feedback programs with end users to shape product and GTM strategies. Validate product hypotheses and drive product/market fit
Perform competitive analysis to identify new and differentiating opportunities. Maintain an understanding of current market conditions and our competition to inform product and marketing strategy
Build and execute partner-centric GTM strategies to drive adoption and ongoing engagement. This includes positioning, messaging, launch timing, segmentation, risk and objection mitigation and adoption goals
Partner with the marketing and creative design teams on detailed launch communications plans that ladder up to our overarching partner narrative
Seek out and analyze data in order to inform GTM planning and execution decisions and to set up tests and reporting on outcomes and adoption
Serve as the hub for all GTM activities; partner with the sales enablement team to ensure readiness across the entire organization
Who you are:
5+ years of related experience in a product marketing, product strategy or business strategy role in a technology-enabled, consumer-facing company; experience in online travel and/or a multi-sided marketplace is a plus
A validated record of owning well-executed go-to-market activities, leading to quick adoption and lasting usage
A passion for understanding customers and advocating to keep them at the forefront of all initiatives, while simultaneously balancing customer needs with business priorities
A growth mentality and a sense of curiosity. A willingness to entertain new insights that may conflict with your existing thinking and an ability to both learn and adapt from outcomes and feedback
A bias for action and a knack for leadership. Capable of taking calculated risks, setting results-oriented timelines, prioritizing and assessing when speed is essential or not
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership to drive alignment and decisions. Experience speaking publicly in front of large groups
Strong analytical abilities and a scientific mentality. Ability to balance qualitative and quantitative data, formulate and test hypotheses, and iterate based on what you learn
Experience building positive relationships and working across teams in a global, matrixed organization; enough technical sophistical to work optimally with product and engineering teams
