Agile Engineering Project Manager - Duo Security

This position is for a Project Manager. As we scale our service platform from billions to tens of billions of Authentication we are scaling all aspects of our business to deliver value to our customers. This will range from our SaaS platform to the way we engage with our customers. This role will be key in smooth execution of projects that span multiple departments and teams. A successful candidate will lead with answers keeping the business outcomes in mind, create appropriate project management artifacts to track progress, monitor risk and help communicate the progress of projects to various stakeholders.
The day to day activities of this role closely align to that of a scrum master. You will work with two Engineering teams to help take Duo's core MFA product offering to the next level. Our authentication product is responsible for millions of authentications a week for some of the most influential companies in the world. Your responsibility is to help your teams maintain and evolve this experience.

What you'll do...
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering Managers to prioritize work.
- Work with the Engineering teams as a scrum master to enable team success and drive results.
- Facilitate standard sprint ceremonies such as daily scrums, backlog groomings, sprint closes, retrospectives, demos and sprint planning.
- Facilitate project planning, risk management and dependency mapping.
- Help your teams organize daily, sprint, and quarterly level work.
- Identify ways to improve how your teams work and help implement positive changes.
- Master the tools our Project Managers interact with. Utilize those tools to help your Engineering teams work at a high level and report status to stakeholders.
- Work with other Project Managers within Engineering to continue to develop and evolve project management best practices.
Skills you have...
- Experience in a software development organization. SaaS experience is a bonus.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master or equivalent role.
- Certified Scrum Master (or equivalent experience/knowledge).
- Experience leading large projects requiring cross-team collaboration and proven ability to establish relationships across teams.
- You take initiative to make positive, measurable changes in your organization. You are extremely organized with world-class communication skills, both verbal and written.
