Entry-Level Technical Program Manager

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Entry-Level Technical Program Manager to join our team that leads a small portfolio of solutions. In this role, you will assist with driving solutions and execution as we evolve our technical capabilities to create a high-reaching advantage in our marketplace. You will be asked to draw on and further develop your Agile knowledge to increase the effectiveness of existing solutions and help build new ones to drive scale and efficiency throughout the organization. 

Working with our team requires a unique blend of organizational and technical skills demonstrated through the ability to understand technical and non-technical problems and aid the team with solving these or ask your leaders to help you with overcoming these challenges. You will partner with Senior Engineers and other Technical Program Managers to assist with forming technical requirements and guide engineering teams with building these solutions to speed up innovation and deliver value to our customers faster. Common responsibilities include: facilitating grooming sessions, communicating requirements with supporting teams, promoting agile practices and continuous improvement, monitoring progress by frequent interaction with respective team members, and collaborating with Engineering. From there; you will be empowered to design, implement, refine and deploy new platforms and features that our customers value. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with leading the project lifecycle from inception to end-user adoption
  • Monitor teams’ velocity and facilitate the resolution of risks and blockers
  • Collaborate with partners and engineering teams to ensure epics and user stories are clearly defined and properly phased to facilitate timely delivery of functionality
  • Lead communication and solution delivery across multi-functional operating teams
  • Communicate status, risks with resolution plan, upcoming milestones, and recent releases
  • Handle resolution of urgent engineering issues while communicating changes to business partners

Profile:

  • 1-2 years of Project Management and/or Scrum Master experience in a technology company
  • High level of initiative, passion, and desire to build an extraordinary user experience for customers
  • Shown expertise in standard methodologies for Agile software development, and the ability to evolve those practices according to technology and business trends
  • Ability to lead teams through issue resolution and risk management
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to highly engineering and non-engineering partners
  • Scrum Master and Agile evangelist experience in a dynamic software development environment
  • Certified scrum master and/or project management a plus
