ABOUT THE ROLE

The Integration Program Manager is responsible for helping drive the merger and acquisition (M&A) integrations of identified and acquired entities, directly supporting, and enabling Bright Health’s growth. This includes development and execution of scalable and repeatable processes for effective/efficient integrations which assure the company can service new and existing business that meets our final contractual and customer expectations from a strategic, cultural, systems and operational perspective.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Integration Program Management:
  • Directs oversight and coordination of tasks to address remediation efforts identified through M&A due diligence
  • Direct integration activities of pursued and acquired entities using strategic decision making throughout integration process
  • Generate integration plans and track efforts to ensure desired outcomes are met
  • Responsible for engaging with cross-functional teams to scope, plan, and execute on Day One readiness technology enablement
  • Coordinates outside vendor engagement to address Day One readiness activities, as needed
  • Defines and manages Day One readiness policies and procedures of the enterprise integration Playbook
  • Ensures solutions adhere to enterprise principles, standards, and healthcare industry standards and regulations
  • Provide feedback to leadership on integration budgets and proactively work to help identify any risks with alignment (capital and operating costs)
  • Understands effective communication across all levels of the organization (both upward and downward) with the appropriate message, the right tone, and the appropriate level of impact
  • Fosters teamwork, is a consensus builder and brings people and teams together
  • Maintains calm in tense situations by bringing clarity and organization to the forefront
  • Ensures each level of the organization has the information needed and the context needed to produce favorable results
  • Builds strong relationship with enterprise leaders to ensure connectivity to the business
  • Help create updates and presentations to executive leadership on implementation plans and results tracking
  • Act as a key contact to adjust acquisition and transition plans when needed, working with Corporate Development, People Team, Financial Leadership and Operations teams to ensure effective resolution
  • Ensure key milestones are met by working closely with Transformation Office team and support functions, working to proactively resolve issues and remove roadblocks, ensuring integration projects are completed on time and in scope
  • Assist with driving pre-close transition plan and ensure seamless handoffs
  • Maintain on-going relationship with acquired business leadership teams to ensure effective integration
  • Process Improvement:
  • Recognizes problems and can make recommendations/decisions on the best course of action to remediate
  • Resourceful at coming up with solutions using existing or available resources based on knowledge of the organization and level of execution effort
  • Conduct post integration evaluation of plan and process and implements appropriate changes on a go-forward basis
  • Communicate results and best practices to support functions and amends processes
  • Help facilitate post integration team audits and reviews feedback to assess effective handoff to end state teams
  • Completes other assignments and initiative-based projects balancing company need, individual skill-set, and individual desire
  • Maintains HIPAA guidelines to ensure the confidentiality of all calls and documents

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Five (5) years of information technology experience required
  • Three (3) years of project management experience preferred
  • At least One (1) year of experience with mergers & acquisitions or solution delivery required
  • Active participation in two (2) or more M&A projects, including IT Infrastructure separation, data center migration, application integration/ separation/ rationalization, IT synergies/cost reduction required
  • Experience driving solutions that map to the global target architecture, standards, and roadmaps in a distributed hardware, operating systems, and cloud computing required
  • Knowledge of Project Management practices and tools (Smartsheet, Jira, ClickUp) preferred
  • Solid background in Systems/Infrastructure Architecture and proven abilities to analyze the current business, detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement preferred

  • A blend of big-company business and process management experience, with the ability to translate needs to entrepreneurial/startup organizations
  • Outstanding client relationship, client facing and consulting skills. Able to juggle multiple priorities and know when to delegate, and when to take direct ownership
  • Ability to apply practical experience with communications, culture, and change management
  • Understanding of cross-functional and functional coordination
  • Comfortable presenting to senior executives

LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • PMP Certification preferred
