What you'll get to do...

The Senior Software Program Manager is responsible for orchestrating the various activities associated with ensuring that a product is delivered that meets users' needs. The software program manager's role varies as the software moves through its lifecycle; earlier in the development process the program manager meets the intended audience of the product to engage in requirements elicitation, whereas later in the lifecycle the program manager's primary focus may be in acceptance testing of the product. Throughout all the stages of the product development process, the program manager represents the needs of end-users and uses this information to determine what features to build. The program manager ensures an atmosphere of cohesiveness and focused collaboration between all the members of the project team, all in the interest of driving the product forward. Program managers sit at the intersection of business, design, and technology.

• Plans and prioritizes multiple concurrent deliverables for the current year. Strong expertise in the subject area. Understands initiative role in company as a whole, incl. P&L impact. Identifies, communicates, and optimizes overlapping initiatives. Awareness of relevant industry equivalent solutions.
• Creatively applies proven methodologies as solutions to achieve the required business result. Ability to implement appropriate Agile forms of SDLC for teams. Optimizes workflow connections between teams. Ability to implement a repeatable process for cross-team delivery. Identifies and drives strategic process engineering and smooth implementation for multiple teams
• Responsible for management of budgets, scope and schedules for multiple concurrent potentially sizable and complex programs. Anticipates problems through experience and mitigates proactively. Formulates solution delivery and contingency plans.
• Communicates appropriately to executive leadership. Performs initiative prioritization against other work on critical path delivery teams. Influences decisions and outcomes during interactions with leaders/execs and/or customers regarding significant issues to GoDaddy.
• Understands how critical path technologies are interconnected and can drive complex solutioning discussions between engineering teams. Defines KPIs to drive adoption and engagement of platform services for internal partners. Drives engineering investment prioritization against other work on critical path delivery teams. Adept at bridging gap between business and technical teams to drive consensus
• Interprets GoDaddy strategy and goals, and converts into team and/or dept. strategy, KPIs and goals. Develops dept. standards and practices and sees through implementation. Manages department/function and applies employee and management development concepts and strategies to keep team motivated and connected. Demonstrates inclusive leadership behaviors & ability to manage diverse talent

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
• 5+ years experience supporting technical and/or engineering projects as a Project/Program Manager
• 3+ years experience in Business Analysis, preferably with Finance related systems
• 3+ years experience developing and executing test cases
• Experience with MS Project, MS Office, and MS Sharepoint

• Excellent writing skills with ability to simply navigate technical concepts and ideas.
• Proven experience in prioritizing and managing large scale enterprise projects using project management tools
